Hey everyone!

haven't logged in here in a while. But I just have a question. I'm going to be attempting to sell my 07 s550, which i retrofitted lights and all to look like the newer. It also has 13" W7, 2 JL amps, and focal components, bluetooth, and ipod hookup. Car has about 73K~ miles on it, and some small scratches on bumpers etc, from daily driving. Nothing too major.

Can you please give me some insight on adding a subwoofer, amp and components. I'm dying to rip out the stock stuff. Also I would try to get 50 or more. Your car looks good, what are you upgrading to next? You thinking Bentley GT or Lambo?

Your car looks nice but be careful with mods because often times they actually diminish the value of the car. Unless you have a MB enthusiast such as yourself who really value and appreciate the great mods you've made, some buyers might not even want a car that is very modified. If you find someone who appreciate the mods, you can ask a premium but if not be ready to sell it at market prices for a 2007 S550 with no mods. For what it's worth when I was looking to buy a slightly used vehicle, I actually stayed away from any cars that were modded as rightly or wrongly it made me feel very nervous. Other potential buyers might share my concern. Or they might not and you'd do great. In any case good luck!

First let me say that your car looks good. I have to agree with WEBSRFR. When you add mods to a car (engine, vehicle interior or external body) you do it to your taste and liking, which narrows the field when the subject of re-sale comes up. Sometimes the mods scare buyers away (like me). Mods are a great thing, it makes the car an individual and it stands out and apart from the others cars like it, but some buyers just want it to blend in and keep a low profile. Hope you do get it sold for your asking price

Unfortunately for OP - extra stuff on the car not always will bring extra money on a selling price.

Beautiful ride. You're probably looking at high 20s to low 30s at the most. Price it a bit on the higher side and welcome any reasonable offers one might have and see where that gets you. Even though you have a ton of tasteful upgrades on the car it won't account for much when it comes to resale value. The S Class doesn't have the best of resale value but then again that applies to all the big German and Japanese vehicles available on the market. Having service history will be an asset. Oh wow I'm an idiot lol. I didn't even look at the date, I just saw that the post was bolded and thought it was a new thread started up. Anyway if he did want to sell it in 2013 my price was quite accurate.
