Need lease price advise on the new S550 ASAP !
Hello Everyone,
I am thinking to swap my 2010 E63 on 2012 S550. I test drove it today and the new engine is amazing. Before I wanted to get S63, but pricewise don't see any point especially with this 2012 engine. So I am looking at this fully loaded S550 2012 in California at $115260 MSPR.
Looking over at MBUSA for lease.
MSRP $115260
down $ 7000
10K miles
27 month
$1381 + Tax.
I am trying to get a rock bottom deal on this "$115000" car. Should I ask for 10K off? 5K off?. I just don't want to ask something that is not doable.
Edmunds.com true market value on this vehicle for MSRP of $115,260 shows $109949... That about $5200 off.
Invoice is $107,203. Should I target for invoice? Which means $7000 off.
Then it will make payment from $1381 to around $1110 + Tax (8.5% $94.35)
Coming to total of $1204 per month.
Ideally I would love to have 6K down with $1195 (tax included)
Greatly appreciate your thoughts...
Trying to close this before new years.

I am in the same boat. Looking to lease loaded s550 for 2 years until the new s class comes out. I understand there is trunk money already built it for the 2012 s550. For a 115k car, where to start? when will the "year end" imcentives surface for these cars if there is such a thing.

Thanks for replies to "fallen" and "emin.mak"
emin.mak, which dealer did your friend buy car from?
OK. So here is what I got so far:
MSRP $115200
Discount $16200
Trade in: E63 payoff 68500, - giving to me 64000 (so here is another $4500, to me it looks like they put this extra $4500 here and increased discount of the car.)
$10000 down - $1199 per month including tax. (24 month, 7500 miles per year)
I am thinking to push them towards $7000 for $1199 per month.

I think there is still room to play (another $2000). I didn't finalize it. Plus I found someone to take over my lease. Overall on a fully fully loaded S550 you can probably get 20K off. Special lease rates on MBUSA.COM are B/S.
... It is not difficult to negotiate. Just tell the sales person that everyone else is getting 15K off. If others can do it, he should be able to do it too, else go to another dealer or sales person.

I have no way of telling if you are getting a good deal or bad deal...
got my 2012 S550 ~ $106.5K car for $1,450 per month, inc taxes. $7,500 total out of pocket costs, 27 months, 12K miles per year, inc maine. Lease price was based on $99.5K. I was not being offered the trunk money you apparently have in your deal.
I purchased the car at the largest So. Cal dealership and one could say I have a relationship with the dealer - 6 cars since 2005.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Dealers have limited inventoryof S550 in my area. It is hard to find desired color combination and options set. Did somebody negotiated $20K discount for an ordered car?
