DRL installation help

I am trying to get as much info as possible on DRL installation, i ve read that you need 50w 6ohm resistor in order to connect them to Fog Lights switch, so here are my questions:
1. How many wires are inside when you splice the fog light wire and DRL wire, like 2-3? Just +/-?
2. Do i connect resistor to + only?
3. I couldnt find 6ohm one locally, but i found 7.5 ohm and 10ohm, if i put these will my DRL be brighter or darker?

do you want them to be on only with fogs?

if you just want it to be on with headlights, you can wire them to the bumper reflector. a member did that and no need to put resistors.

are you talking about rudypartsworld who made that comment? If so i had contacted him and he said that they still act erratic. I am suppose to get some more information on a direct wire without issues. I'll keep you posted.

I'm suppose to do the s63 kit as well but the drl seems to be the only obstacle so i'm on the same boat and trying to get all info before I dive into the conversion.

i forgot the username but he had a thread in this forum about doing the conversion himself. did he say what his problem is with the reflector bulb? the LED goes out after a while?
