S550 Wheel bolt pattern question

Hey guys,

I found a set of 22's rims but the wheel manufacturer (aftermarket) said that the wheels only fit a GL series car. Does gl and s class have different bolt pattern?

They don't really explain to me why..

Thanks.

All same bolt patterns. It's the "off set" that is different?

the offset is 5mm different. not sure how significant is that. but it's not the standard offset for ML or GL either.
