Rotor change?

My brake light just came on...so I'm not sure if it's just brake pads or brake pads and rotors.

How long do these cars usually go before the roots need to be changed? My car has 24k miles.

Is your car an SL 65? My S 65 has 24K on it and the brakes are still good, as of yesterday. But they do go quick and they cost a bundle.

Good luck!

Rotors are good for awhile as they are pretty damn thick. The pads, however, go fairly quickly. At 40k miles I'm already on my second set, changed around 30k miles. Under normal driving conditions, rotors may need a resurfacing or a turning at the most, but probably not.
