New 20" rims for 2010 S450 4-Matic

Hey guys.

I'm looking for some new wheels for my 2010 S450 4-Matic (Barolo Red, no AMG sport package)

The wheels what I would really, really want are these: http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/mer..._iv_wheel_1644 but 2500 pounds for all 4 wheels is way too much. Check the attached image - those are the wheels I'm looking for (20 AMG alloy wheels - 5-twin-spoke design)

Also, what replica wheel manufactures do you suggest? What are the one's with the best quality out there? As you've understood, I'm after the AMG look - nothing else.

Actually the one's you showed are not the same. Mine are 5-twin spoke, yours is just 5 spoke with some grey in the middle. Also, 22" on my roads is overkill, 20" is pretty much maximum over here.

Okay, I think I found the wheels I'm after for - http://www.powerwheelspro.com/shop/p...roducts_id=557

Is that place legit? I tried Googling and found some pretty good feedback, anyone here used their wheels?
Also, those wheels have offset 35, but in my manual I see that factory offset is 43 - what does that mean? Will those fit?
I'm not planning to lower my car. Can I have wider wheels at the back with my 4Matic or is that just RWD thing?

Those are not available in 22" and I live in a country where you would use 22" on SUV's So 22" is really not an option

But now I need somebody to answer to my question about the offset in the previous post.

Hi renepello,
Here you go...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-WHEELREP-...item19cfc6715c

which country are you located? I agree with 745, if you can go with 22's, do it.. I have 20's on my s550 and will eventually get 22's becuase i feel the 20's are too small.

I have a 4matic and staggered are fine...many people on the forum run staggered setups on their 4matics..

I'm located in Northen Europe - Estonia. Alright, staggered it is, but what about the offset? MB manual says 43, but all those wheels are 35? Also, does the hub size matter? Power Wheels Pro has 66.6 and Ebay 66.56...

Are the roads bad in Estonia?

Anyway, I have offset of 36 in the front and 42 in the back and it's perfect..but I am not an expert on the offsets.others in the forum can chime in.

I don't know the hub size either.

Your best bet is to ask the ebay merchant..they are very knowledgeable in that area and will provide you the answers to your question.

Also the wheels that 745 mentioned that are gun metal in the middle, check them out in 22's on this s550..it looks REALLY good:

good luck.

Oh yeah, they are really, really bad - especially now when the snow has melted. Indeed, those in the link look nice, but way too big for roads over here. I also found another topic when you posted some pictures of your car when you got your 20" and I really liked the look, so 20" will be just fine

Okey, I've searched the forum and found out that 35mm should be fine - will have that aggressive look and no spacers required. Although I would really appreciate if someone with 35 offset could say something about this.

What tires should I go for?

Front: 255/35/20
Rear: 275/35/20 (This is default AMG, but I'm thinking can I go for 285?)

---

Okey guys, never mind. I'm getting some 20" Carlsson's:

If anyone is interested, I'll post pics of the car when I have them. Hopefully today or next week.

Here's the picture. Too bad the rear one's aren't wider, would look a bit more sexier.
