Reusing my old tpms on a new rim

Hi folks,
Need some help with an unfortunate accident yesterday with my s550. I hit a curb and destroyed my tire and took a good chunk out of my rim as well. So while I've found a new rim on eBay, I was wondering if I have to buy a nw tpms or can I reuse the old one? Also, is there a specific model of TPMS I need and do I have to reprogram via command?

Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Vinay

just swap it onto the new wheel and you're good to go!

The tpms itself is self contained so as long as there is no damage to it you can reuse it.
