LOOK!!! It can be done.
FINALLY a Brown interior without so much as a BLACK steering wheel! No black dash, no black door trim, no black carpet, no black (or WORSE yet, Grey) headliner! The only thing black are the pedals. Thank you Audi. Since the 2000 Designo Mocha option, this has been such a peeve of mine with MB and BMW, and Audi.

The Designo packages are just a few options for the customer to choose. The customer can get any color if they really wanted it and had the money to pay for it.

Also some of the trim looks like black/grey plastic. The floor mats too.
Check out the W212 E Class with Chestnut interior - very rich and classy.
Its a special order color upgrade option, but not Designo pricing, just the $750 or so.
Looks great with Indium Grey (bronze) exterior.

While I think this particular color combination is not the bets to my liking I agree with you in that I am sick of black. I can't stand black interiors as they show very little contrast or detail and it's difficult to tell if a surface is not clean. I like to keep my interior clean and in pristine condition. It amazes me how many people buy these cars with black interiors... I guess a lot of people must like that...
