A/C not cooling!

Hi folks,

I have a CL63 and my AC stopped blowing cold air suddenly... I took it to the dealer but I have to wait until Tuesday because they're pretty tied up..

It only blows hot air. The heat works perfectly.

I live in Miami and it's 100degrees here I'm seriously dying and it's pretty embarrassing to drive a car like this with no A/C lol.

Does anyone knows if there anyway to reset the computer or something ? I hope I'm not gonna have to get a new compressor...

Thanks guys

Could be anything... Best tech to take a look. You also might want to post in the cl section.

CL sections are completely dead. The S and the CL are almost the same, reason why I'm posting here.

The a/c got messed up after I hit a button that take off the blur from the windshield. Then I tried everything and nothing worked.

It's really scaring me specially when the car is out of warranty lol.

Could be a leak in the sysstem, not cheap. could be other electric issues, not cheap. not to scare you but generally anything with ac the stealer will charge up to wazoo. Unless you know trusting indi mechanic.

Have you recently had the navigation/command software updated? Not just a dvd of maps, but the platform software updated.

If you haven't this is no help.

If you have, those updates can delete code. The updates often delete the code where the compressor and the command "talk" to each other. I went through a very expensive (over $800) and unneeded learning curve on this. Replace the program code and mechanicly things are fine.

Good luck.

Just because of warranty?

I'd rather have a Cl out of warranty than C with one.

Yes, it should be a computer problem. The A/C unit has already been replaced under warranty not too long ago.

$995 OEM part + $200 labor and gas at my friend's shop.

There is an aftermarket compressor at $500 but I'm getting the OEM i don't wanna go cheap with the car
