Now your are saying yours work correct with memory and all , which gotta be either your wiring is not set up that way which I do believe you or the S350 is different than S550 or there are different motor numbers or the whole unit that these wires plug into door us different

I have always said it worked perfectly. BUT NOT the dipping on the passanger side. That started to work when I instaled the aftermarket motor. Then it all worked after I messed around with the buttons. So to try to make this clear: On my driver side it is all OEM and works like it should. On passenger side it is all OEM except the motor that is your aftermarket motor and it works now. Both mirrors have the same cable setup I gave you.
So the ONLY thing that can be wrong is a faulty motor or wrong cable setup. All else is identical on ALL W221 cars. This I have confirmed in EPC.
Try my cable setup with the new facelift motor you ordered and see what happens.

Chris right now phatisfy and I have same issue on drivers side no memory, side to side works fine up and down are backwards, and it's all OEM and wire is set up like your diagram, it can't be motors because it's practically impossible that both out motors are faulty besides I got 3 other OEM motors and they are doing same thing , now which can be only 2 things you missed something on your wiring diagram or there is a difference on s350 and s550, can you please re-confirm your diagram by taking another look at your wiring harness cable on your drivers side

Chris same functions in getting with my 2007 OEM mirror and the new OEM mirror, it's gotta be some different configuration in your mirror wiring, if you can double check your driver mirror please

I have the same mirrors with the same issues, i ve been following this thread for a while. I remember when Chris said that his mirrors didnt work at the beginning and then they suddenly started to work correctly or smth. I didnt believe it at first. But now recently my drivers side started to work (memory function) and yesterday after my wife drove my car, i sat in the car pushed the memory 1 and both of my mirrors went back to the position i saved it at. Idk what is it but i can confirm what Chris said before. So now everything works, just need to check auto-dipping option

Here's the fix for the drivers door and it works 100%
Green is mirror plug and black and white plug into doors( that we know)
G1-W10
G2-B4
G3-W7
G5-W9
G6-B9
G7-W8
G8-B3
Will have passenger door when I see if it's same as this but will know by tomorrow

Fantastic work JT. My way was for passenger mirror. Driver should be the same but I have not had time to check yet.
So it was THIS simple fault...A cable fault..Just as I though from the beggining. I wonder if it is a special for USA cars? Hope this works for you both now.

Fellas I'll have the passenger side later today and I just want to publicly write here an apology to Chris the Swede because I only spoke out of frustration and I should of been a lil more patient but frustration got the best of me so Chris I'M SORRY if I was out of line
