2008 s550 4matic questions
Hi everyone
I just bought w221 s550 4 matic.
Two questions.
1. When I plug in my iPod classic to the iPod cable in the dash I can listen to music but can not select a playlist or a particular album. I browsed the comand manual but not much there about the iPod interface. Any ideas on whether this is possible.
2. When it is hot (90 degrees or so). I notice a very subtle vibration when the car is stopped at a stop light. This is felt mostly through the seat. It is a very slight vibration. The idle is at about 500-600 rpm. Is this a problem or just a trait for this car.
Thanks

My car vibrate quite nasty sometimes, I wonder if it a fan on radiator causing this issue, I also noticed if as soon as I touch gas pedal or put car's transmission in Park it goes away. I tried to bother a dealer about and of course he just said he can't replicate the issue. It does happen more often when it's hot outside.

This very same thing happens with my brand new 2013 S350 BlueTec. Not a big deal but slightly annoying. It looks like low rpm results in this. I am wondering if there is a way to slightly raise rpm when idle. This will consume a little bit more fuel, but if I wanted fuel economy I would buy Toyota.
