Hi guys,

I saw this 2011 (12?) S550 last week with Florida temporary tags and I'm in love with the rims and I want them for my CL. I couldn't take a picture of the rims since I was driving but I took a video of the car hopefully the guy sees it and recognizes his car.

Very boring video, save yourself some time and don't bother to play it if you don't think that's your car


The car was georgeous, the rims looked a little bit like these : http://www.akwest.com/Custom%20AMG%2...020%20inch.jpg except they were 20' or 21'

What's cool about them is that they were a little shiny (not chrome).. I have a very poor vocabulary so I don't find the right words to describe them.

If you're the owner of this car, I would appreciate if you can tell me where did you get these rims or if they're OEM where did you get them refinished to make them look the way they do.

Those wheels look like the Plus-One wheel package that comes with the W221. go to MBUSA.com and look at the wheel package for the W221's.

If you live where the roads are not impeccably maintained (such as NY or the DC area) with those low profile tires, might as well have a cab follow you wherever you drive so when your wheel fail, and they will, you can get in the cab and continue your journey

But I think they were 21' , 22' are too big IMO

Depends totally on the style of the wheel...Look at mine with the new wheels...They actually look a bit small even though they are 22". My old wheels looked much bigger for some reason.

I dont think they make those in 21's or even 20's. Were his rims concave in the back or flat?

22 is to big if you have a C class yes, but for a S class 22" is meant to be...

That is the CL...Looks much biggor on that modell.

The rims that I think you want are concave in the back similar to what you see in this photo in the rear rim. You'll see that the star around the perimeter goes from outside and into the center. That's concave. Did the wheels you saw look like in the back?

What tire's and size are you running on them wheels? Because those wheels only come in one specific offset correct?

yea, the tires are Nexen N3000 245-30-22 front and 295-25-22 rear.

I'm running on factory airbags with 4 solenoids to release all the air out when the car is parked. i will take some pictures for you soon.

That's an interesting set up. Care to list what was done and how that set up is? And how much that cost you? Also, does the rear fit with no rubbing?
