it doesnt specify A, B or C like they used to, which were usually oil changes plus a lot of checks...

usually it would alternate between the two A and B, ive never seen C

C simply indicates “time to complete required services” since you are > 40000 in addition to oil change (normally alternates between A & B because of various inspections) - brake fluid change, ATF change, combination filter replacement, air filter replacement, etc.

Just did "C" service and I've got close to 60,000 miles. Ran just over $400 at the dealership. Hoping they actually did everything and didn't just change the oil & filter and reset the indicator.

Check tire pressures. Oil & Filter. Inspect Poly V-Belt. Corrected fluid levels where needed. Inspect parking brake. Visually inspect suspension, drive shaft & axle boots. Perform Battery test. Inspected air filters % cabin dust filter. Lubed hood catch & hinges. Lubed door hinges and sunroof guiderails. Check brakes and tire condition. Performed overall vehicle inspection per MB check sheet (whatever that means).

so they basically did an A service which is an oil change plus checks. Usually that runs under 200 even in southern cali

I went to Hoehn...MBofSD was a couple $$ less, $325 as I recall. But I've had nothing but bad experiences at MBofSD.
