Nav update. How do I do it?
My 2007 s550 is asking me to put in a DVD update disc. It was just working just fine. Dont know what version is running now but it has the "bird view" already. Where do I get the update and how much does it cost?

The disc is about $250 new. It doesn't seem to matter where you get it. You just put in in disc slot 1 and it should load for you. You can go to the dealer or search e-bay. Try a search on this thread - some guys (or gals) may loan you a disc for a small sum. Newest disc is v11.

Try going to www.navigation.com and you can search by year, model, and make.

Yup i found it thanks again. For anyone else who is also looking to update their navigation to v.11 here is a link for the disk for a little bit less than 250.00

You may have a bigger problem. I have never heard of an S550 asking for a DVD update. Could this be caused by a corrupted or failing vehicle hard disk drive?

I think you are right. Dealer just did a diognostics and it gave an error for the nav. I don't understand, it was working just fine. Has anyone ever had this happen? Dealer says if I get a new command I will loose DVD capabilaty. How can I get it back if they replace the nav?
