Any S-350 Bluetec owners here?
My wife is whining that my E-350 Bluetec is too small.
I LOVE the engine in my car, it pulls like a tractor (OK, 've never driven a tractor, but you know what I mean) and gets amazing mileage.
But the S is almost 1000 pounds heavier, and it is essentially the same engine.
I haven't gone and driven one, so if there's an owner out there, can you tell me if you feel your car is underpowered?

I own an S350 2012. Runs great , is not underpowered. Has great get up and go. Does 34 mpg on hiway at 70 mph. It does not have the vibration problem being discussed on this forum.

I have one also. I had a 2006 E320 CDI and the S is at least as fast. Plenty of power. Haven't gotten worse than 30.3 MPG calculated but I live in the country. The mileage is not as good as the E but I expect it to get better as it breaks in. It has plenty of other charms to make up for the fuel consumption.

The S350 will actually get well over 30mpg I hear. I do not know too many dealer that have them. I have only seen a couple of them around. I think the S350 is the best all around 221. 4Matic+ Diesel.

i have both 2012 s350 and 2012 e350 bluetec. The s350 is 10x better than the e350 in power, smoothness, noise levels and acceleration. Remember the engine is just not bumped up power.... It is revised with new headers, new turbo. It makes 236 HP on the dyno which means it is highly underrated at 240 hp.
