Just picked up the car tonight, Tomorrow morning they are cutting into my side markers for the DRL so those will be an easy job.
Then its off to my muffler shop for the exhaust setup

Please excuse the cleanliness, the car is filthy

The car is coming out very nice.
Can you take some pictures when you get the muffler tip's put on.
Like where they cut and where they weld.
Thanks

Finished... sorta

Just got home 5 minutes ago, Today i got the DRLs working and i put the tips on. My exhaust shop recommended leaving the secondary cats and if i want more rumble i can always cut them out later on.
For now just straight pipe in place of the resonator. I think it sounds nice and very sedated... Appropriate and fitting for this car. I will most likely go louder but i need to make sure i retain the class.

Keep in mind the car still has not been washed or waxed since the new paint job, i wanted to wait until after i did all work. Going for a major detail tomorrow morning

i also bought 2 front tires today, ..heres the pic when the new tires were mounted and before i turned the car on to let it recalibrate the height. Man i need to get my hands on a lowering module! thoughts on links? Are they bad for your suspension?

I've had my car lowered with Adjustable Air Ride links since I've had the car and I'm very pleased with them and they're very easy to install.

I remember a few years ago when I was first considering the conversion, a few guys out of Germany were rocking these wheels on their conversions. Nice wheels and if you can get replicas, you should be able to find some for a decent price.

I found quite a few of the replicas actually, i am just having a hard time deciding what would look good on my car. I want the oem's but they're pricey!
Those pictures of the silver s63 look soooo nice

EXHAUST UPDATE:

After driving the car for a day i hate the exhaust sound. It gargles at idle and flutters after you step on the pedal. I am ordering an X pipe to replace the straight pipe and will delete both mufflers. Hopefully it should sound a little better than this

Another option is buying 2 stainless steel race mufflers to replace my originals .Im thinking about adding electric cutouts right after the secondaries for when i want to be loud! ... i can always close the valves and run an exhaust through a muffler for normal cruising
Just trying to get rid of this awful fluttering asap

I like the look of my wheels but i am purely going for ride quality. I am sick of sacrificing drivability for "big shiny rims"
NY roads are known for their potholes , driving into manhattan can be a real p.i.t.a sometimes

ok lets get the headlight topic started
I saw on ebay germany the LED headlight set with modules for about 2,700
Its a lot of money considering all the work i just put into the car. Your updated headlights do look much cleaner, hands down
