Kufatec interface...automatic power trunk closer

came across this while surfing the net .
does anyone have any experience or knowledge of it? does one's car need to have power trunk closing feature for this to work? or will it work regardless of whether car has feature or not.
if it truly works, its a great alternative for those of us that don't have the power trunk closing feature.
pretty cheap @ $165 compared to the oem power trunk closing kit that has been done on here (goes north of $1000).

http://www.kufatec.com/index.php?mai...roducts_id=719

Installation:http://pdf.ampire.de/kufatec/35651_englisch.pdf (scroll all the way down for pics @ the end).

This looks very promising considering they took the time to show the actual install on a w221. I'd like to know more.

It isn't an alternative for the OEM power trunk closing system, it is an add-on for that.

The OEM approach does not allow you to close the lid from the remote key. This tool enables it.

Very nice but seems too easy to me. It says "This module can only be used for car's that are equipped with an electric trunk. "

What does this mean? Does every S550 have motor/electric trunk system so that this device can control motor to close trunk?
