What about changing a fresh battery to your remote?

Message will automatically be reset with new batteries. The batteries are available at most electronics stores for much less than the dealer cost. You need two batteries for each key fob.

Remote battery

I started using the spare remote and the message is still there. I will buy new batteries and try again. Thanks.

Had the same thing happen to me, message went away as soon as I replaced the batteries. Go online to see how to replace them.

whats a little troubling for me is that I changed the batteries in both remotes probably 3 months ago and just lately one of the remotes makes the message come on, not the other
