Airmatic Malfunction - Resolved
Just an FYI post for people who have this problem in the future:
My car: 2010 S550V4 34k miles
My problem: Instrument Cluster Warnings "Airmatic Malfunction (yellow)" and "STOP Car too low (Red)"
Visual Indications: Front end height of car is too low (AMG lower front skirt scraped on driveway, portion of tire sidewall obscured by front fenders). Rear end height of car appears normal. Took to local Mercedes-Benz dealer for repair.
From the Service Invoice:
"PERFORMED SHORT TEST. CODES 3288, 3111, AND 5280. REF: LI32.22-P-048279
CHECKED AIR SUSPENSION FOR LEAKS. REPLACED COMPRESSOR FOR AIR SUSPENSION."
While it was in, there was a mandatory campaign (unrelated) for a CAM Solenoid.
Part Numbers:
Fuse Link: 000000-004215
Relay: 002-542-76-19
Compressor: 221-320-17-04
Engine Wiring: 271-150-01-56-05 (QTY=4)
Cable Ties: probably not relevant...
Anyway, this appears to have restored normal airmatic functionality to my vehicle. All costs were covered under my original M-B warranty, so I have no idea about the $$$. Any changes, will post.
