I started with a 07 S65 and decided to do the face lift.
Looked in to it and every thing is scattered around.
There are some good ones but still not real in depth.

Things that we ran in to that no one had a shown in the pass.
From the looks of it most that do the face lift dont have a 63 or 65 that they are just up dating. They have a 550.

I will list as much as I can to show every one things I ran in to.
And what worked or did not and what we did about it.

This is pics of the old backing and what sensors the 65,63,600 have.
All 3 do not use the 4 sensors like they did 07-09.

Had to take the old off and make it fit the 2010up bumper.
As well as mod the foam,bracket/back brace.

Depending on who and what parts u get.
5200 just for parts.

bumpers,drls,tail lights are not oem.

The hr for labor is up to the shop you take it to.
Its hard to come up with an exact number because the car was hit so this was done at the same time. other parts were replaced.
I know for the rear bumper I was charged around $450 painted put on.
The front bumper is the one that takes more time.have to swap parts.

Distronic is not working now

I was so hooping the aftermarket grill would work.

Do I need to replace the plate or get a full oem grill?

I think the general consensus on here is that you only need the OEM plate.

The front had problems with the headlight squirters and the s65 has 4 sensors unlike s550 only has 2 and new 63/65 has 2.
It got a about a 7 out of 10.

The rear was 9 it fit fine and only had lil problems.
For the price dif not bad.

I keep seeing every one had to use the oem plate but every one selling the am grill tells me it works no bad feed back.
Any way looks like I'm getting the plate just hope that works.

Thanks..
I wanted to make one for the headlights.
Kind of hard to do that with the car in the body shop.
The video on youtube of that harness is good it just leaves out lil bit.
