Looking for assistance.....spoiler trunk/roof
Hey guys, I have been on Ebay, but there are tons of companies selling rear trunk and roof spoilers. I pick up a 2007 S550 on the 15th of April, but I want to order those spoilers as my first project/improvement asap. The question is, should I get it pre-painted, or not? I will have the Flint Grey color. Why are some $150 and some $400+. Is there a quality issue? I have read many threads about how Ebay has junk stuff at times. I don't want to get some junk I won't be happy with or will not last. I am going to have both parts put on my car at a custom shop. i just want to get an honest opinion.
I will be trying to get this put on at a shop in San Diego, and if you know of any recommendations, I will be more than grateful.
As soon as I get pics of the car I will post before and after. All of you guys know the car already. I am purchasing TheGodfather's 2007 S550. He has been top notch in this transaction. I wish him the best in his future plans (house/car, etc.).
I will be standing by for some guidance in ref to the spoilers, and any other suggestions you guys have. I also have a 2000 S430 in Bremerton, Washington (where I am stationed). I guess I can't stay away from the S.......

I bought this kit from this dealer. Extremely satisfied. Exact same as Lorinser. Perfectly painted and perfect fit.
It would not surprise me that Lorinser get their spoilers made in the same factory.
Installation was a breeze. Very strong double sided 3M tape supplied. Sitting as cast after 50 steam wash.

THe prepainted oem color is spot on from Taiwan, provided you car has not lived in the sun for 5 y or more you will definately see a difference bc of uv influence I have Tansanit blue 59U( on top of my head )it really was spot on but car has lived ( is living)in garage..
The Lorinser style is really very different from the link above ( do a google )but can be bought from Taiwan as well if you look carefully..
If you want Lorinser just pay the money and get original ( spend about 600 ex-paint ex-shipping) whereas the Taiwan ones can be had prepainted from as indicated in post above..
All ' n all I am habby chappy with my Taiwan non Lorinser kit.
The roof one from L is more pronounced and trunk one from L is just a wing ang not from side to side compared to the Taiwan kit. If you see pics you will get it!
