Looking to do a xpipe on my s550 would 2.25" be the correct size Xpipe....searched the forum no straight answer??please let me know

so i had my car on the lift to do lower arms and it didnt have a resonator... had an x pipe instead. dont know if thats stock or someone before me did it. i got mine used with 40K on the odo.

Pipes coming from primary cats are 2.5. after secondary cats they go down to 2.25 all the way to mufflers. At least on mine.

So im going to replace everything from headers down to mufflers with 2.5 and do x pipe where secondary cats are.
