new, buying a 2013

Hi

Brand new to forum.

I'm looking to get a new 2013 S class. I prefer less options. I was thinking about a 2014, i looked at one, drove it, and actually prefer the 2013's.

Any thoughts or advice as i explore this purchase are much appreciated. I plan on keeping the car for a while. I know it has 4yr, 50k warranty....

All the dealers are telling me 2013's are very hard to get ("impossible"). I can wait.
thanks!

2013 S550 4matic (AMG sport package), 2016 Corvette Stingray.
I would get the 2014 at this point as I will be upgrading mines in 2-3yrs. If you are getting a 2013 you might as well go s63 step it up a notch.

I am getting a 07-10 one. I am going to get more options. If you want a normal 2013 there are tons. I think if you want a brand new 2013 (not used) then it is hard to find. Look and compare prices to see if it is a good deal. I suggest getting a color other than silver. If you do not care about color then you have a choice of engines. What are you looking for a S350, S400, S550, S600, S63, or S65? The S550s and lower do not have a lot of options. Some have a lot though.

I looked at, and drove the 2014, i really prefer the 2013 and want a new one.

the 2014 is too much tech and i don't like the grill nor the tail lights MHO.

I struck a deal, here in Chicago and they later told me that that car i wanted is now unavailable - black on black, "normal" roof. So, they're now searching for a black w. cashmere - which is ok. So we'll see. I'm not really happy with the dealership and their "man behind the curtain" tactics, but i guess this is just how it is. The salesman was great. But, it's frustrating - it takes him 3 business days to search a database?

Anyway, i'm starting to think seriously about a BMW 7 series. I have an 09 535 that i bought new that i'm driving now. I've been pretty happy and like the dealer, a lot, in Elmhurst IL.

thanks everyone for your guidance and PM's.

Mercedes Benz of Nashville has a 2013 brand new S550 in silver color. I am not sure of the options. Call ask for Kirt. He is a good guy.

We just leased two brand new 2013 S-550's at Mercedes of Princeton last week. I think ray catena in Edison, NJ has a bunch left too.

Go to cars.com and do a search. There is a black on black 2013 in Tampa for $99,000.
