Facelift & bodykit
Hi,
This is my first post to this forum. I recently bought year 2006 S350 and I have a few questions:
- Would like to do a facelift and get a body kit. When it comes to parts should you only use original MB parts or should I expect some problems with cheaper parts? Wouldn't mind AMG look or are there other body kits you would recommend?
- Car is currently almost original. It has no visible exhaust outlets. What parts I need to have to outlets on both sides?
Sorry for stupid questions but I've never done any modifications to my cars previously other than rims and I'm far from do it yourself man.
Cheers!

Hi,
I just received the S65 after market body kit (the same one that a lot of people have here), and the quality is pretty good. I haven't fitted them yet. It is made of plastic like OE, not fibreglass. It is of course not as good as OE, but it would be difficult to tell the difference.
For the exhaust, I think you need to buy the tips and have them welded on.

Cheers for the info. Been doing a lot go googling and research on where to find parts.
Would like to have AMG front and rear bumpers and Wald side fenders and side skirts. Was offered those for 1750 USD.
Facelift rear lights are easy to find and apparently are easy to install but could someone help me with front facelift lights and day lights. This was the offer I got re front lights:
"with night vision +6 computers = 2200 usd (if no night vision you can take just lights and transfer old computers---just 1450 usd set)"
I don't have night vision currently so should I take the 1450 USD one or can I get night vision working if take the other one?
This is the website that has been offering the parts http://www.planetatuninga.ru/shop/br..._w221_2006#top

Regarding facelift lights and mirrors there seem to be a lot of different views out there what parts are needed. Could someone clarify this to me? Tail lights are just plugins right but for front lights you need something else than just lights right?

Does this sound good or not for S 350? I'm not completely sure.
