mercedes benz offers subscriptions to WIS on the startek website. Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly I think.
You can also buy a CD on ebay, but all bets are off on how that turns out.

well gee, you tell me. they just provide you access to a shop manual for every car they've ever made that you can download and print.
Considering how few companies even provide that access to non-shops and do it in a manageble way (daily subscription), in addition to providing FREE access to their entire parts catalog, i think you should be mighty grateful.
Don't like it, buy the copy on the CD off ebay.

ah ok you do have a point there when you put it that way... that said I'd previously gotten my manual on ebay for $60 for my 08 e class. I looked on ebay and didn't find anything, I'll search again and see if I can get any hits... I wonder if my 08 manual would happen to cover this 209 S class since it's electronic, haven't tried to put in the VIN...
