How To Jump Start Your S Class When It's Trapped In The Garage Nose-First
Don't ask how I know this, but if you happen to be listening to the stereo with the engine off one night and then you go to bed but forget that the ignition is still in the ACC position and you get into the car the next morning and it's totally dead for instance, and you can't move it because the gear selector requires power, here's how to avoid having to drag it out of the garage so another car can jump it.
If you have any charging source, like a fast charger or booster box, unless it's monsterous, it probably won't have enough amperage to start the car. The S is incredibly power hungry at start up and if it senses insufficient juice it's a no-go.
But you can use it to get enough power to engage the electronic transmission selector and get the car into Neutral and then push it out of the garage where it can be jumped by another vehicle. The battery needs to be charged to the point where the dash lights up. (You'll see a ton of error messages that will clear once the car starts). Depress the brake and hit the start button, then quickly put the car in neutral. If it won't go, let the battery charge over a longer interval before trying again.
Or, remember to shut the f'ing car off. That's my new plan.

What you REALLY don't want to do is back your W220 (battery in trunk) into a garage and put it on jack stands with the trunk closed......

Same thing happened to me last night.
Still waiting for the Tech person to arrive.
Are the Anker portable charger ok to us to jump start the S550?
Because I read that jump starting the S550 is very dangerous and could
messed up some electronic parts in the car.
I am wondering if the portable starter ones like the
would be safe to use?

It's safe, might not have enough amps. The tow truck that Roadside sent had a massive portable booster and even that wasn't enough, but it did allow the car to slip into neutral so at least we could move it to where jumper cables could reach.

I have been using a NOCO Genius Boost for the last few years and it works great.
Starts any car or boat I have tried it on. 4.3L V6 Mercruiser, GL320 CDI (which needs a LOT of amps to start it), R230 SL, etc.
Charges from a USB connector. Small and portable.
Clamp it right on the battery terminals under the hood, wait 10 seconds, then crank.
For the person who had trouble with the W220, there is a second power point in the car. Remove passenger floor mat and there is a panel behind it (can't remember if metal or plastic). Unbolt and remove it, and there's a power point behind it. You can clamp a positive cable on there, and clamp the negative cable to a large bolt (door hinge, hood hinge, etc.) No need to get to the trunk battery at all. This is also useful if the car dies and you can't get the metal key to operate the trunk lock. Just get some juice into the underfloor terminal and hit the "trunk release" button on your remote and it will open. Then you can boost the battery from there.

I bought the charger that Benz sells but from the manufacturer CTEK, I got the one brnaded by mercedes but without the benz labeling, and the larger version that hasa lot more juice and can start the car/. Both of these are wall plug versions. They have adapters to plug the business end of the cables into the lighter plug in the car, for the employment of the MEM (Mike's Emergency Method) (pronouced "the MEM") for moving the car to a more convenient place for jump starting. Before I bought it, I contacted CTEK directly to inquire about the appropriate model and they responded very quickly. Several emails later I purchased 2 of them. I actually bought the chargers for the battery maintenance when I am gone on trips and to use on the rare occassion when a DAS/XENTRY Terminal is hooked to the car to keep the battery up out away from a shop or the dealer. http://www.ctek.com/gb/en
