21x10 et46 all the way around??
Im looking to put a new set of wheels on my 2007 S550 and I really like the style of the wheels on the ML63 AMG. The set that I have found is 21x10 and the offset is 46mm all 4 corners tire sizes are 255/30/21 and 285/30/21. Can anybody help me and let me know if this will fit and clear S-class w221?? I know back will clear but my concern is the front with that high offset.
Here is a photo of an S-class with the same wheels I just dont know what the spec are on the wheels in the photo.

The S takes a high offset stock (43mm) so if those wheels are 46mm you'll be fine all around. The fronts will sit back 3mm (a sliver) further away from the fender lip. I say snap those 'sum *****es up.
However when I checked, the factory offset on an GL is 56mm. (http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/inf.../mercedes-benz
That would require at least 10mm spacers since the wheels would sit too far inside the fender well (and too close to the struts and brakes).
It's possible the car in the photo has OEM GL wheels plus spacers, or those may be replica wheels in something closer to the S's factory offset.

That's a great look.

Also as far as tires, will front be ok with 255/30/21?

I use this calculator: https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-Size-Calculator to test tire and wheel combos. Fill in the stock OEM 20" info on the left and try some 21" variations. The calculator will tell you how far from OEM wheel diameter you are with each choice.

You see a car like that in photographs and the wheels and the drop look so aggressive and cool. Then you take that car out on the road and it rides like a truck. When it comes to physics there's no such thing as a free lunch. Ya can't drive a picture.
