Transmission swap SLK350 to S550 possible??
First thing I noticed is the S550 has a 4 arm joint flange
I'm guessing they could easily swap from old to new unit
What about the other differences could I just swap the units or would they not work?
I see the switching unit is theft relevant part, could I just use the one from my S550 and bolt it to the new one
Sorry for the ignorant questions here, the SLK transmission is a good deal but I will only buy it if I can get it to work in the S550
I changed the engines with same style from a CLK, a few minor things needed switching, manifolds, sump pan etc, but the engine worked fine, not sure if this swap will be just as simple.
