sounds too good to be true, but it is a 2007 model.
was at MB dealer picking up my GL450 today and saw this S550. It appears brand new, owned and traded in by a local personal owner. Test drove it, it feels tight as new. interior and exterior appears brand new.
to me this sounds a good price compared with the S550 on ebay or autotrader.com. but I was not eager to buy another Mercedes after the two recent major repairs of the GL450.
back home and wife was very interested in the S550. Called the dealer and its sold already. they just got the car in today and its sold now. seems I missed a good opportunity.

Before I bought my S550, I went to see a 07 760LI. The BMW dealer wanted 21000 and my S500 trade. It had, I think, 85,000 miles. All options too. Something seemed wrong though. With that mileage, and condition the price sounded to good to be true. However someone else came and got the car. But hey, the reason why all 7's are in the 10k-20k mark is because of the reliability. If you rank reliability for luxury cars for that time the 7 Series has to go on the bottom. I bet the new owner of the 760 is getting a headache.

Yep, deals like that don't last longer than a few hours. I lost 3 white, s550's with amg/pano/black leather then got lucky and found one. Every one was sold as soon as it popped up.Originally Posted by texas008
