Chris, having read the previous 221 build thread front to back (more than once), obviously the finished project looked phenomenal. How do your re-imagined and rebuilt cars do at resale? Are you generally able to recoup most of the money that goes in to them?

It looks like you're buying your parts all new and OEM and it seems like the costs would be astronomical but I understand you're in the industry and not paying retail. Are these projects typically a break-even just for the fun of transforming a car and you're not sweating resale?

80% of all interior parts for example are used but looks new. I only spend a fraction of the new price. I make a buck on the cars.. This is also what I do to make a living on... Making unic MBs for customers. But I only show my own cars here in the threads. Sometimes I even fly all over the world to help out customers with mods.

Dont see it that way when I am here posting my projects. I answered a question with the truth of what I do. And the mods can remove that answer post if they like. Not a importent post for me at all.

I agree Chris from reviewing your post your are definitely just sharing info with those of us less knowledge about the cars, so that we can try out somethings to personalize our cars. BTW, Chris, thanks for all your threads! They help all of us DIY'ers.
