2012 S600
2012 S600 Bluetooth Streaming
HI everyone. I need your help. I called the dealer to buy the media interface plus for my 2012 S600 since I do not have Bluetooth Audio Streaming, and they told me that it is not meant for your car.

The parts person said I should have Bluetooth streaming and SMS reading capabilities in the 2012 car. Can any 2012 S owner confirm please?

Do I need a software update? Does anyone with a 2012 have Bluetooth Audio enabled option? Is there a way to access the hidden engineering menu on the S to enable it?

My phone is Samsung S4.

No W221 has factory streaming BT audio. The $300 Media Interface Plus does not support streaming in the 221 either. Pick up the Tune2Air BT adapter on Amazon for $80 and you'll be good to go.

No idea. I guess you could get one and try it out. I know for sure the the $80 adapter works.

Interesting. No BT audio streaming or video playback, but you do get the SMS.
