Airmatic Malfunction - Complex problem
2007 S550 4Matic
STAR Error codes shown:
5111 Y36/6b1 (Airmatic Pressure Sensor): Signal Implausible
5287 Suspension strut is Implausible
Suspension wasn't lifting up. SDS tests to compressor confirmed bad pump so that has been replaced. Wiring harness to PUMP look fine. However the car NOW rises up BUT these fault codes still are appearing with "Airmatic malfunction" displaying on dash as soon as you start the engine.
Where is the pressure sensor located? Is it built into the valve block? What else should I check? Where would the common broken wires be?
Thank you in advance.

Yes, the pressure sensor is screwed into the valve block. You can replace it separately.
Using DAS, I'd check to see what the pressure sensor is telling you. I would probably also run through the pneumatic tests on the block. If that comes back ok and the N51 module is communicating with DAS ok, then Id say your valve block is doing ok.
Start there and see what you get.
