2007 S600 without aux input or iPod interface! Suggestions?
On my 2007 s600, I have no AUX input or even the iPod interface. In the audio menu there's just radio/cd/mp3/dvd-audio.
Is there any way/suggestions for listening to music with my phone? I used to use the pcmcia to SD card to listen to music but recently it hasn't been able to read my pcmcia stating that no mp3 files are find (weird).
I haven't looked into fixing the pcmcia problem and have been wanting to see if theres any ways/suggestions to listen to songs through my phone without the AUX input or iPod interface.
Thank you so much!

I am in same boat as you. So are many other members on here. That a car of this caliber didn't come with that feature as standard still baffles me.
To get factory integrated connection with your iPod, you need an Mercedes iPod kit. And since your car is not factory coded with that feature, you will need to get the "Aux" feature activated in your Comand system.
here is a good thread to follow if you decide to go that route:

I also was turned off by the idea of going through all that iPod kit hassle and opted for a simple aux plug in, but found even with that , you still need to activate the Aux feature. So might as well go the iPod kit route if you can source the need kit.

How did you implement the aux input? I will go to the dealership to have the "Aux" activated but how will I get the input?
By reading the iPod interface installation thread, it seems like it has mixed reviews
thank you!

This is what Diesel Benz once posted and I have saved that you may need -
But I don't know how much.
Part numbers should have been posted already but I could not find those from the forum. Anyway, the AUX audio cable is B6 782 3118 but why not purchase the AUX video cable B6 782 3121 and install both at the same time.
