Rear Side Window Shade Conversion
Good afternoon Guys,
I had a question. Ive seen some W221s with shades that go on the back side windows and I was wondering if anyone has tried to convert a car with non shades to one with them? Is it a new door panel?
I already have tint "legal" tint on my car but id like something to help keep the sun out of my kids eyes on these here in fl and I have tried the ones with the suction cups but they don't seem to make ones that are big enough.
Thanks for the help

I still find it strange this is not a more popular option on Mercedes cars. Pretty much every BMW 7 series I see has them. Most Audi A8's have them as well, given they are still manually operated on those.
When purchasing both my 221's, this was on the must list. Every car I've owned since my 98 BMW 740iL has had them and I will not buy a car without if they were offered. I had the manual shades in my 98 S500 and 08 E350 that Mercedes offered through their parts dept. The ones for the S500 were nice in that they would retract. The ones on the E350 clipped in and had to be fully removed to allow passengers to see out clearly.
