S65 would have all options as standard equipment.

The massage option is not that great. Very subtle inflating pockets of air. It's nice, but I could live without it, along with the night view option.

The massage feature is very nice on long road trips....or sitting in lots of traffic. On short jaunts, it's pretty pointless and likely wouldn't be useful. I wish the seat bottoms offered massage too....and perhaps a happy ending option.

I suppose if you like very gentle massages, it's useful. The massage seats in my car are nothing like the massage chair I have at home. I was hoping when I got the car that it would be more powerful - couple of people didnt even notice the massage while others did. Hopefully when I get the new model the hot stone massage is better (haven't tried that yet).

It's like that on purpose....otherwise the massage might put you to sleep. It's meant to make long trips more enjoyable as you won't need to make as many stops to stretch out.

If you can fall asleep on my home massage chair, then I'd pay to see that . Perhaps if i was fatter and sunk into the s550 seat more id feel it better.

Did the massage change with the facelift? I have a 2012 and the massage works really well.

I don't believe there was any change until the W222 models were introduced. I agree that it's a nice feature to have, especially on a long trip. But I think some folks were expecting a Shiatsu massage or some sort of massage therapy, which it certainly is not.

The seats are certainly a lot better then the toyota yaris I usually get from the airport rental car companies. The massage in my own driving is such a nice feature. If the W222 is even better, I can't wait to upgrade in the future. Now if they could disable the booting noise the W222 makes when you open the door, that would be the icing on the cake.

I took a test drive in a W222 last week, if you like the W221 seats you will love the W222. The extra features, being able to heat just the back portion of the seat, combined with the additional massage features were great. If I had the extra cash I would have went for it.
