W221 2007 ipod Interface Kit Compatibility with Telematics Update?

2007 Mercedes S320
W221 2007 ipod Interface Kit Compatibility with Telematics Update?
Had Telematics Update with Birds Eye view done 1-2 years back working great.

Today, fitted a pre-facelift (2007) iPod Interface Kit, pretty straight forward plug and play into the comand headunit. Now just need a trip to MB Dealer to get it version coded to enable AUX feature in the menu.

But after reading this MBWorld thread (read last post), am worried that even after coding it won't work. Apparently the older ipod cable is not compatible with the newer Telematics Update....can anyone else confirm please? Thanks.

None at all, coded perfect at MB. Now can use aux feature in audio and video menu.

Infact i now use the Tune2Air bluetooth device to stream music from the iphone. The only issue is the volume needs turning up a little.
