Looking for info on 4Matic operation
I'm looking for technical documents on 4Matic operation. I haven't had much success searching.
Some of the things I'd like to know:
1) What is the torque transfer system? Electromagnetic clutches? Torsen?
2) Is the rear diff limited slip? If yes, is it cone/clutch-based or torsen? If not, does the system have an open transfer case/open diff and use ABS to transfer torque?
3) Does the system offer torque vectoring?
4) What is the torque split (minimum and maximum)?
5) General operation principle
