M278 (4.6L biturbo) engine: What is that reservoir underneath the engine cover?
For liquid intercooler? Power steering?

Thats the ECU.

No, not the ECU. It is a reservoir...

Below--not the same engine, but the same idea. The reservoir outlined in red.

That's the reservoir for the water cooled intercooler that seats in the middle of the engine block...
