Ordered lowering links
I just ordered lowering links on ebay which should be here tomorrow. Are they pretty simple to install on the ground or should I put it on a lift to do it?

I guess lift it is. I just changed all of the brake pads to akebono euros last week and I was looking at them while it was up in the air and they look like they just pop off. I'll do it tomorrow or thursday.

Depends on the weather
Just took a few pics when I was out. Sorry for the foggy pics but the sun is out blasting as it's like 95 degrees, hot and humid. I'm pretty excited to see the difference in how it looks when it's lowered. I am hoping with the ABC it won't ride too rough. If it does, I can at least say I tried it and only lost a few hundred bucks.
The LED tails definitely make the rear end look so much better. I just added tint last week also.
I am thinking about new wheels, but not sure yet.

Looks great, I didn't realize you changed the wheels. I jut did a 3m 5% tint on mine, was thinking of doing a star drop? also looking to pull the trigger on some new wheels myself.

Yup. I did that not long after I got it. I did 5% all the way around and 40% on the windshield. It's funny being behind someone and you see them looking trying to figure out why they can't see anyone.
They have a new tint that blocks heat. They did a demo of it with a heat lamp that was about 150 degrees and put the tint in front of it and you couldn't feel anything....Definitely interesting but of course that tint was like 4 times the price and I don't care about the heat as the normal carbon tint is fine for me.

They do look cool. Depending on how low you go, ride can stiffen up exponentially, so live with whatever level for a short while and if it's a keeper, get a new alignment.

Links will increase camber. Depending on your existing values (no two cars are the same) it might end up being too much resulting in accelerated tire wear on the inside. Your rear right hand side tire will suffer the most (open diff generally accelerates that tire the most).
Also be careful when removing old links as height sensor arms are very fragile and you might break off a stubborn one or two lol
Just keep in mind.

Thanks! After I find the ride height, I will be sure to get an alignment also. Will the dealer to the alignment with lowering links on or should I go to an indy?

Depends on the weather
Ok, I am headed out to dinner with my wife so I will get pics sometime this evening but I drove down 95 for about 15 minutes, going over dips and all kinds of imperfections in the road.
The car rides exactly the same as it did before I lowered it. I feel absolutely no difference which is just incredible.
The install took 27 minutes...I timed it. It was hot and that included changing my headlight bulbs between doing the front and rear.
I raised the car, and the links just popped right off and the new ones popped right on. The links were preset for a 1 inch drop as I measured before and after also.
Simple to do! What a great mod! I have to admit, I went around a sharp onramp going 80mph...the car didn't budge. It's incredible how this thing handles now.
Thanks for all of your input and help!
I may lower the front just a tad, 1/4 inch but I am going to give it a few days to see how I like it as it is now and then I will get an alignment. Pics coming soon!

YES, ABC which I am pretty sure makes a difference in the ride. I will get some pics today and it's cooler and sunny out. I think I want to drop the front a tad but you will see in the pics in a few hours.

I lowered my car with a module by 30mm and it became too bouncy. I'd leave my seat on dips in the road etc. I changed the settings to a 10mm drop and it rides like stock now. I'll probably play around and see what a 15mm drop does when I have some time.

Thinking there's some basic physics involved in a drop on ABC vs Airmatic. Air can be compressed, fluid cannot. Maybe that's why the ABC cars don't firm up as dramatically or rebound as hard on a drop. That's all I remember from physics.
