Will need to do mine also........2008 with 46000 miles on original plugs.

Well, the battery cover is done and the ecu cover is done. That's all for now.

I am playing around with ideas for the engine cover. I am not sure I will even put it back on because it isn't doing all that much (protecting a few thing from dust) but it's just another thing added to heat soak and I like how it looks with it off.

I may respray the front part of the engine cover in red and put that part on to cover the front area for now....until i remove all of the connections and paint the rest of the metal underneath. :-)

If I do put it back on, here is one idea I am playing around with. These were chrome letters, I sanded them, primed and painted. They are not attached, just sitting in place for now.

I know, I know, many of you won't like what I am doing but I like it. It livens the engine bay up in my opinion. It all ties in: Calipers, tail lights, and the red accents in the engine bay. Anyway, pics...

The sun is shining so bright this morning so it's bouncing off of the ecu cover.

The V12 is going to be redone in silver. I painted all of them by accident.

Thanks.

Nope, just wanted to liven up the engine bay and clean it while I was at it.

Beautiful! 1 caliper done, 3 more to go for me! Changing out pads as well Btw, another CEL with code P0450 Evan System Pressure Sensor, it's a new thing every week I swear! However, I got this OBDII from autozone that sends me full engine diagnostics to my phone with HP and torque ratings as well. It's pretty sweet and even gives instant mpg, that's probably the part thay makes me sick when I watch it haha.

Just for you Dave.

Seriously though, I got the new badges in. Just haven't put them on yet.

I am actually thinking about debadging it and just leaving the S600 on the back.

Debadged is better than extra badges....IMO. You could also take off the S600 and replace it with S350 to make it a real sleeper.

Yes, definitely need the links! Are you doing the tail lights? That makes the rear end look completely different.

Did you ever find a better heat exchanger? Let alone upgraded turbos or even headers. I was thinking of just having headers made at the shop I take my car to as right now I only have the muffler delete and it's still a little too quiet for my taste.

Uhhhh I might, i have been avoiding doing that because I don't really mind the look of the stick rears, but I've only seen pics of the led ones and I recently found a pretty good deal on ebay for a set of rears and side markers for a little over 400 or so. I guess I just haven't pulled the trigger.. Then again, I am also eyeing a body kit.. This is getting obnoxious.

Heat Exchanger

Heat Exchanger Pump - Johnson CM30

I am either going to do quad intercoolers or upgrade to 2 bigger ones. I am also going to get custom pipes made from the turbos intake to CAI to get better airflow.

From what I have found out so far is that the turbos will basically need to be custom. They will take the current ones and build them. I found used oem turbos on ebay from 500+ so that will be easy but the best option is to find bigger turbos...still investigating.

I was the same way until I bit the bullet and ordered them and then once I put them on, I couldnt stop looking at the rear...still love seeing it. The lights make a huge difference.

Contact Gary on here, hell give you a good price...he carries the lights, I got them from him.

Have you looked into a water/meth kit? A buddy of mine had done it on his bmw with impressive results. The only thing I am having a problem with finding is all the aluminum piping to replace the stock piping for cooler.

I have seen it done and people have good results as long as they don't over do it. I'd be scare to kill my engine and having to purchase a new one lol.

Yup, that's the other lingering thought. The effects on timing as well and then having to modify the ecu to aacount for the actual increase in boost. I did, however, just see a thread about cold air intake modifications with bigger silicone intake tubes and high air flow filters. It was done completely by one guy with the silicone being wrapped with header wrap to ensure less of an effect from the heat. I think this will be my next major mod. Much cheaper than a body mod.

Don't spend much money on a CAI. They do nothing for HP. The only way you'd get any benefit from a larger CAI would be combining it with a bigger freer flowing exhaust. And even then the gains are very minimal.

The gains that K&N and other CAI mfrs claim in their ads are complete bullsh*t. Often the aftermarket systems actually rob the car of power as the stock systems actually flow air better.

I'm making my own cai as I have seen many other v12 owners do to get the best results. Eliminating those boxes and a custom 4-5" j pipe from the turbo to outside air. Air from under the hood is hot, air needs to come from in front of the radiator or somewhere else.
