How to keep car in "S" mode

Most of the time I like to keep my car in "S" mode. Every time I shut the car off to run into the store I have to change back to "S" mode because it defaults to "C". Is there a way to keep the car in "S" mode until I want it to go back to "C" mode? Is this something I just have to live with?

Nope. You have to switch it on every single time after the car is powered off.

Facelift model Trannys revert back to comfort or eco once the car is shut off. The suspension will stay in sport mode but not the trans setting.

I believe it can be reprogrammed to make Sport the default. Dealer or Indie with Star can do it.

Thank you for that info, I'm scheduled for some work at a local MB specialist shop who I would assume have STAR so I will definitely ask him if he can do that for me. Its a small annoyance but one I want changed. Thanks again!
