Get over yourself CL. You don't have even close to the best looking Benz on the block. The S600 is much finer....from its looks to its size to its comfort. Lots of other misinfo in your post too.
I am talking in terms of the year difference between mine...in terms of interior and features, I would take the 11 XJL over the S600....in terms of of exterior styling and performance, I would take the S600 for it's aggressive look, which I gave it.
It's such a downfall in my opinion that al brands are creating so many classes and series of cars that it takes away from owing the brand. Like bmw for instance....1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, x1, x3, x5, x6 series...that is just over kill to me...and mercedes and every brand is doing just about the same thing.
It is a downfall what is happening to cars these days and everything looking so much alike.

The windows are too small, the body is too tall for the greenhouse and it looks like a poor relation to the prettier C Class. As for misinformation I guess Mercedes didn't call the S the flagship only CL was. Plus the S even with all the bells and whistles never cost what a fully loaded CL did. So, put that in your hat and smoke it!
One of the worst things Mercedes did was take the beautiful W221, and merge it with a 1990's Acura CL to form the W216 CL. I find it interesting that they even stole the CL name from Acura too. Honestly one of the ugliest homologations that Benz has ever produced. The C217 is a major improvement akin to the 2017 E-class compared to the current atrocity.

WHPH28, I love my GT speed. I bought a 15 instead of a 16 because I am not a fan of the lower body cladding. Too much chrome and interior choices weren't as nice. I do like the B vents in the front fender and the front fascia but aside from that I prefer the 12-15 hands down. I had an 09 Speed and the 05-11 were really a bloated VW Beetle. It rattled, I could hear every rock in the road, it was really just a piece of junk and for 185K, I was not happy. The 12-UP are the only way to go, better interior, better suspension, better design. Just an all around finer car, plus they just don't depreciate. Its a fine car but honestly I love my CL even more. It doesn't have the cache' of the Bentley but I really like how the Benz feels. Mercedes was trying to make the S Coupe like the GT but totally missed the mark. I had a chance when I bought the CL to buy the Edition 1 but made the right decision. I keep usually keep my cars, so I like to cars that will stand the test of time. I personally find the S Coupe a joke on all fronts.

Oh yeah, this is one hell of an ugly car....the worst Benz has ever produced. ROFL!!!!!!!!!!! Actually, it's probably the biggest upgrade from a former model in Benz history. Although it appears the 2017 E-class may give that distinction a run for its money.

Yes, I will admit I am an Elitist, I have always been, as my father was, as was my grandfather was. My upbringing is not something I had control over, it is what it is. I don't have to try impress anyone. People that know who I am and who my family is So, If that offends you, so be it. I am a straight shooter and just because we are on different financial levels, doesn't make you a lesser person or me a better on, it just means I was lucky enough to be born into a very wealthy family and have made quite a good living on my own. When you start attacking me personally, then at that point it becomes offensive. I have nothing to prove to you nor do I need to. For you to attach me and my cars is rather rude and shows a lack of good judgment. I didn't attach you or your car, so why you come after me personally, is actually offensive. Now, with that said. As for the car, I could buy one tomorrow but don't like it. I think the prototype was a much better execution. There are nice aspects but as an over all design, it doesn't work for ME. If you like it then you buy it. I don't want a 65 and wouldn't have a 550 and since they did away with the 600 that left me with buying a Bentley. If I wanted a sporty car I would have waited and bought a GTS. I like personal luxury cars not sports cars. It is just what I like. It is a matter of PERSONAL taste. Just as the new W222 is not attractive and only in the Maybach version are the greenhouse and proportions much better.
Also if you cant see the rear end looks like an E Class your blind and the front looks like a new C coupe, E, CLA, SLK, and 2017 SL.

The Jaguar is a driver. You cant compare an 85K car against a 150K car. If you try and compare my full Designo 2014 CL 600 against any other S600 or Jaguar of any model, there again, you cant make a fair comparison, as the CL 600 is leaps and bounds finer than all of them.
As for the W222 they are the ugliest car Mercedes has ever built (IMO), Second ugliest car is the new W217 in any version. Aside from the amazing interiors and technology, that the S Class cars offer that is all they, offer pretty interiors.

2007 S550 at 90k, replaced suspension pump for $600 total to fix the sagging all around, no warranty. It looks mean lowered though haha
You guys seem to have a lot of luck on warranties. I was offered a 4k warranty for 3 years in 2011 from MB, would've expired and paid 4k for nothing. In my experience, CPO has never done any good for me. It always covered parts that were $200 up to $800, while the warranty was 3k or more.
Very nice addition!!! Just like the facelift on the CL it really makes the car!!!! I like the 63-65 exhaust tips but it must be extremely loud! Did you put on aftermarket mufflers?
Id finish off that wonderful upgrade with a pair of the newer styled square mirrors, I'm sure by now they are plentiful and an inexpensive bolt on. Really, love the facelift look very much!!!!
