I'm hoping the trend doesn't carry into summer, with endless 100+ degree days and 90% humidity.
What's the latest addition to the stable?

Somehow, I just knew you'd be the first one to reply lol.
Work is only mon-fri...well, for most people I think...so I am on here during those times and here and there after work and weekends.
I'm on vacation down here in florida so I am on here from my handy dandy phone...sitting at the tampa airport waiting for my wife. :-)
The Mustang GT350 with the flat plane crankshaft VooDoo V8 is probably better and more livable. I've seen a couple of comparisons and the Ford always takes it.
I'm actually really surprised my wife likes it...she doesnt LOVE it but she said "it's nice" and do I like it and am I buying any more cars, I told her nope.

I was just reading C&D's long term Vette test, and wow it did not go well. It threw a rod or something and grenaded the engine with like 15k miles on the odo. Then there was a laundry list of build quality issues. Look it up, it was pretty bad, and those guys LOVE Vettes.
Speaking of which, after recovering from the surgical site pain, some moron tapped the rear bumper of the S at a light and now my back is acting up again.
(the moron who tapped Mike's car hence alleviates his sore )Ford GT is coming bad guys , not to mention that car was a Ferrari beater during Le Mans

Not at all. I had a "new" 1992 6-speed vette, a new 1999 Camaro Z28 Convertible, a new "leftover" 6 speed 2004 GTO that they nearly just gave away to me ($18,600).
I still troll around looking at Corvettes, 911s, Boxsters, M Roadsters, S2000s..
The new Camaro is sort of interesting. I did a track day ( really only 2 laps) as a Cadillac promotion
and drove an ATS-V 460 hp V6 on the NJ Motorsports park road course. I thought it was really nice but had the typical GM cost cutting on the interior. The amount of mechanical grip at the track was exceptional. It was also really quick. I could have agitated for the new Z06 based CTS-V but the smaller car looked like it would be more fun.
The new Camaro uses the same platform as the ATS but has the 455hp V8. I know Mike mentioned the Shelby, which is better overall and has the flat crank V8.
I really like that too but it seems you would spend over $60k once you finish with options especially for the R model. Right now there's dealer markups for those. They're a bit low on torque and you need to rev it out to access the power.
I drove a new 6 speed manual Mustang GT as part of a $50 gift card test drive. It was, unlike the GM cars, pretty nicely trimmed out, it had some sort of anniversary package. I found it a bit dull to drive, it had good power if you revved it out, but I tried to take it easy since it was not a dedicated demonstrator. I don't think it had the performance package. The steering felt kind of numb to me.
I think owners really like the new Vette. They have problems but they are great drivers. Enjoy the car, it should be fun. What year vette did you buy?

A good friend of mine had an S2000. I drove it a few times. I liked it but the handling and steering was just ok. I suspect his cheapo all season tires were part of the problem.
