Side Marker Bracket Help!

I need help from the body shop experts! I recently changed my side marker bulbs to LED. In the process the installer noticed and showed me that the black bracket that fits into the bumper cover was broken and just hanging. I need to make sure I order the correct bracket because on several websites it shows an AMG/S63/S65 version and the base S550 version.

I have the sport package on my car so the front bumper, rear bumper and side skirts looks like the AMG (minus the quad exhaust).

Links are below for each type. The bracket is #2 on the diagram and of course the picture on both diagrams show them looking the same, but the part descriptions for #2 show them as if it's something different between the two.

Any suggestions on which is the proper one to purchase?

I also attached pictures of my car to see the side markers.

That's the wrong diagram. If you look at my front bumper I have the "long" side marker. Not the short one.

Let me try and explain this a little clearer. If you click the second link in the first post it shows a list of parts numbered 1, 2, and 3. Under that is a list of the parts and prices. The [1] has the part number of that lamp under the description so the picture is not really needed because the side marker lamp is not what I need and plus it has all the part numbers listed. The part number is not the issue.

Part in the diagram I need ......[2] side marker lamp BRACKET.

My issue ........ The first link in the top post has the S63/S65/AMG parts search. The second link in the top post is just the normal S550 parts search. Under each search is [2] side marker lamp bracket. The bracket on my car is what's broken and needs to be replaced. Its not visible on the outside.

My question .... After viewing the two separate searches One shows the part # for the bracket S550 Base 2218850114 and 2218850124 AND for the S63AMG 1718850114 and 1718850214. Also there is a slight cost difference too if you look at the price. So ... Since my car has the AMG sport package even though it is a S550 4Matic would I purchase the bracket for the base or the AMG. I am assuming that since it is a price difference between the two and also a separate part number that there may be something slightly different in the brackets themselves.

I hope this clears things up. You have to actually look at the two different links in the very first post to see what I am talking about.

I'm impatient so I may just go ahead purchase both pair. The base set and the AMG set and order a new set of the clear lamps from ebay and let my indy repair man work it out. Whichever set he doesn't use, return it for a refund hopefully. But I bet shipping and a restocking fee will cost me more than the actual brackets. SMH.

What I was trying to point out is 2218200121 (post 4 picture) is OEM lens part for MY08 S550 w/ AMG sports package - associated OEM bracket is left 2218850114, right 0214 as shown in post 2. Clear lens is an aftermarket part - your call.
