He said $10K USD, which is about $13.8K CAD. Selling it for $14K USD would be $19.4K CAD. Considering he's in BC and his parts and repair dollars are in CAD, he's going to make a tidy profit if he can sell it.

I'm gonna go ahead and estimate repairs to that CLS at about $300 using the Benz55 repair methodology. $350 if you want facelift tail lights.

But the airmatic is ok. so $200. On a side note, you wouldn't believe how many people wanted to buy the car to repair it :/

Here's a running, sort of whole, S550 for $8,000:

You just need to scan it and fix it.

You should buy that car....and if the engine and trans in your wreck are any good, you should drop them in that car. Likely a cheaper and better solution than your looking at....and no branded title.

Then you can part out the rest of the wreck to recoup a bunch of the costs. You'd be money ahead without a doubt.

Lmao!

Dave, I would do that if I had the time. I would LOVE to swap a W221 engine or tranny.

I once got a 94' camry with 240k miles, but had a bad engine. I bought a 96' Camry with 91k miles and cherry picked the engine into the 94'. I put the old tranny onto the new engine. That tranny ran until 355k original miles!! Shifted smoothly too.
