Why is plug 1 and 2 seemed wet or oily on the thread? Shouldn't the thread side of the plugs be dry, like 5, 6?

I wonder something is wrong on that side? I googled it, most people said a little bit like mine is normal...
Could someone who isn't an armchair mechanic chime in? Quad, Alx, Konig?
I drove the car for a couple hours. Its running smooth, but I can tell the Tranny fluid/filter need to be changed. If the sparks were original, surely tranny/diff. fluids are aswell. I can't wait to change them as I change them on my TL every 30k miles.

I never drove one. They are so cheap now but.....I don't think it would be the same now. The newer 7 series never did anything for me. Strangely enough i didn't care for the S class of that era until the refresh of 2010. A friend of mine bought a new S class back in 05' and I didn't care for it at all. I hated the interior.

Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
So do I have a manual? absolutely.
We can safely infer by your presence on this forum that you have and can operate a computer. Well ebay is your friend. I wont look it up for you. This is your project not mine but go look for mercedes shop repair manuals, the cost will pale in comparison to what you have already wasted.
You remind me of someone who wants help, i.e. tell me exactly what's wrong with my car from 3000 miles away, based on observations that are made by an amateur who apparently doesn't know how to take measurements or make technical assessments accurately. What could possibly go wrong?
oh and after you tell him he will ignore the advice and swap the tranny fluid to fix an electrical bug.
A this point I think you should invest in 22 inch chrome wheels and new tires. perhaps it's not misfiring it's just a wheel imbalance. You just need more bling and no one will even be looking at the bent back end.

One shop wanted me to get the 2 aluminum parts and they would put it together, but Vlad can do that. Abra said I could pull it myself. Even brought out a dolly which they called a "cheat stick", showed me how to use it and offered I give it a shot. Eff that, I thanked them and left.
Thanks for clearing that up Mike, I found an MB certified shop in my area.

They have an "Elite Aluminum Structural Certification"
Update: OMG this shop charges $52/h body repair - $35/h for paint. I found my new repair place! Maaco was charging that rate, Thanks Fellas!
My 'Cedes is a 2007.

Nothing like a new car built to order, at least until the novelty wears off. So far, no regrets.
