Plasti Dip Emblems

So today I plasti dipped my s550 badge and mercedes emblem on the trunk. It came out great.

Next I am going to black the chrome strip on the trunk, then lower door moldings and the chrome around the doors as well as the front grille and hood emblem.

I like that effect, but I found it did not last long on chrome, but it wasn't automotive use so maybe you'll have better luck.

I have been doing good just keeping busy so I started this project today. I will be finished this by the weekend. I have surgery tomorrow so won't have any progress tomorrow. The weekend I plan to finish the dip process on all the chrome and I also plan to do a muffler delete.

Deviated septum surgery broke my nose to much when I was younger when I played pro hockey in canada.

Thats where you get your nose skin peeled back to your forehead. Depending on the surgeon/hospital they make give you 100% cocaine flakes to numb it intra-operatively.

Good luck tomorrow Capo, let us know how it goes tomorrow.

That's cool , stealthy look
However, it would even look a tad nicer in grey color instead

Well it's been almost 4 days since the surgery and I have to say the first 48 hours are the worst. With all the post op bleeding and pain. Good thing I had plunty of oxys for the pain. The first 48 hours is very difficult to sleep. Now I'm not bleeding anymore and just have minor discomfort and just some nasal leakage.

Glad it went well. Has the swelling gone down?

Have you had time to serenade the 'Cedes?

The swelling was not that bad. It's definitely tender to the touch on the outside. My left nostril did start to bleed again yesterday which makes sleeping difficult at night time because when you wake up in the am you have blood clots to deal with and clean out. Royal pain in the ***. I can't wait to get the splints taken out on tuesday because everything get caught up in the splints.
As far as the Benz goes I have not finished the blackeningout process. That's going to have to wait until next weekend.
