What should it cost?

In the market for a CPO 2013 S550 4matic with approx 25k miles and equipped with the panoramic moonroof and heating steering wheel. No other options if I can help it.

Seeing prices all over the map.

What do you think it should cost?

A 13 is going to come way loaded up with even the most basic Premium 1 package. When MB gets to the end of a production run they start throwing in optional gear they have an excess of. Not a bad thing. Heated steering would be part of a cold weather package and might be a hard find.

The basic car is fully jacked. The heated steering wheel is a 450 option, when new. Other packages include the driver safety with the distronic and blindspot warning, which I think was a $2,000 +/- option, and the performance package with the body mouldings and 20" rims for 6 grand. 20" 10 spoke wheels were a 2,200 dollar option. Hate those, by the way.

From what I've gathered so far the base car was basically 110k msrp new, and one that is totally pimped out with options around 112k, with the rest in the middle.

Wish I knew what Mercedes charged the dealers on the lease buy back when the cars are turned in. Would help my negotiation. All I can do now is play one car off the other, but it's hard to find very comparable vehicles.

13 should have gotten the Drivers Assist standard. Base car was mid 90's. They can be optioned well into the $130k range when you start getting into Bang & Olfsen audio, rear seat package, fridge, premium or Designo leather, etc. 3 year residual on an S Class lease was in the high 50% range. You'd need to know when the first owner turned it in.

2019 S63 4Matic+, 2018 E400 Cabrio, wardens car.
Last year I picked up a 2012 S550 with all the options you mentioned still in warranty for around 44K and put another 1500 into wheels and tires. Just did the breaks for another 200 bucks or so. I also spent another 3200 on an extended MB warranty for another 4 years and up to 75K miles. Car had 26K on it when I purchased. I like to turn my own wrenches but I still opted for the warranty for catastrophic things like tranny or computers but so far the car is rock solid and a blast to drive. So I am at around 49K all in with really no major repairs for the time I will probably own the car. I would not own this car without a warranty as the repairs do not depreciate like the car.
