Please help with command unit problem

Hello everyone. As always need your help again. Weird thing going on with my command unit. Feels like it was completely erased. When I press on "navi" the system constantly looking for it and displays the message "navigation is being activated" but nothing happens. Also the same thing with Bluetooth says: "phone is being activated" message. The little circle is spinning and that's it. Also if I listened in my car to iPod "media interface" next time I come to my car then audio is always back to fm 87,7. If I adjust the clock to the correct time, when I come back to my car the clock rolls back like 8 hours backwards. I think aliens possessed my car. Feels like the whole system was erased. What do you think? System needs to be loaded with new software? Or a short somewhere? Or fuse? Or need to take battery terminals off?

Can you get it into MB for a scan? Lots of potential issues there.

i dont know how much command has changed and do not see what year your car is

but a year or so ago my 2006 E320 command had a weird hiccup where the nav would went blank or did something weird like that - i dont remember exactly, it never did it again

i tried turning the car on and off and it did not help

i did a little searching on the e class forums and found you could pull the command fuse for like 5-10 minutes and it would reset
did this and no more issues

not sure if that will apply to s class or your year car but might be worth researching

I was gonna suggest the same thing - Fuse pull. Then if that does not work then a visit with someone who has a Star/DAS/XENTY workstation

Just picked up the car from a dealer. They said that software update was needed. Forks fine for now. Fingers crossed.
