Tranny Issues
I had the valve body on my 2007 S550 repaired a while ago. After a couple weeks after the repair, the car would display the message, "Drive to Workshop Without Changing Gears", again. I cleared the codes and the car drove normally.
I would drive it in the mornings to get some breakfast and no issues. However, around noon I started getting the abrupt kicking and the same error message that would go away and reappear in 5-10 seconds intervals. I have no idea what the issue is and noticed it starts becoming a problem when driving in warmer climate conditions. Could it be possible that I need a new valve body?

Your tranny shifter servo is on its way out. When it quits your car will be stuck in gear and will have to be dragged onto a flatbed. It is a fairly straight forward repair as the servo is accessible once the tranny pan is dropped.

My tranny wasn't performing optimally. So I read some post where Mike had the same problem with his and he kicked it and then pissed on it. So I decided to give it a try. All of a sudden it performed great again. Finding alternative solutions for real world mechanical problems. That's what this board is all about.
